Plainly: we keep what we need to run the apps for you, nothing more, and we do not sell any of it.
What we keep
- Your account: your name and email from Google sign-in, and which workspaces you are in.
- What you make: messages, documents, sheets, decks, tasks, contacts, forms and their answers, time entries, files, signatures and their audit trail, and saved meeting notes.
- Running the service: when you were last active, error logs, and notification settings for the browsers you turned them on in.
What stays on your computer
Copilot and Transcribe listen and transcribe in your own browser. The audio is never uploaded. Only the notes or transcript you choose to save are stored.
Who sees it
The people in your workspace see what is shared in it. A small number of people at Aequus can reach the systems to keep them running and to fix problems you report. We do not look at workspace content otherwise.
Where it is kept
On Vercel (hosting and file storage) and Neon (database), in the United States, encrypted in transit. Backups are kept for 30 days. Google handles sign-in.
Your choices
You can edit or delete what you made. A workspace owner can export the workspace's data or ask us to delete it. To see, correct or delete your own account data, email us and we will do it within 30 days.
